Event to highlight the importance of Pink October
Drawing attention to the importance of Pink October, this was the main objective of the 1st Walk for Good gas. The action carried out during the month focused on breast cancer awareness and prevention, brought together family members and Gazin employees at Parque Cidade in Limeira-SP on October 31st.
In addition to providing a moment of leisure, relaxation, care and health, the charitable action also raised donations for the Limeirense Care and Affection Association (Alicc). In total, Gazin sold 170 personalized t-shirts for the event, and for each t-shirt sold, Gazin was committed to donating two pieces of jewelry from the brand to the Alicc fair, which raises funds for the non-profit entity.
In addition to sharing information and promoting awareness about the disease, a walk was planned, but rainy weather changed the schedule. A full zumba class livened up the event, and not even the rain discouraged the Gazin team, who were motivated to do good. The activity was accompanied by physical instructor Carlos Henrique Salomé.
Actions like this are part of Gazin's mission, which is always concerned with generating empowerment and contributing to women's self-esteem. This was just the first of many other walks to come. Doing good is Gazin's commitment.
