At gas sustainability is also treated as a business strategy. And today, on World Environment Day, we invite you to follow a little more of the actions we put into practice every day.
We are always in constant evolution when it comes to issues mainly related to sustainability, so we reuse all pieces that are not sold in new collections, thus reusing raw materials.
The plastic packaging of semi-jewels is being replaced little by little. With this change, we stopped using more than 250 thousand plastic bags/month. The sustainable shine seal now appears on the carton of Gazin pieces, reaffirming our daily commitment.
Our factory also has a water regenerator that helped to considerably reduce water consumption within the company, which went from 50 thousand liters per week to 5 thousand liters.
Another point worth highlighting, even though it is not mandatory by law, here at Gazin we wash the gases that are emitted from within the industry to return to the environment. Furthermore, we have a treatment plant that takes care of all water with impurities that comes from the production of semi-jewelry. In large tanks, these impurities are decanted and the water is released into the sewer cleanly and without causing damage.
We will also launch the “GAZIN bath tour”, an invitation for employees and resellers to get to know our bath up close.
It is worth remembering that Gazin is an employer of women. More than 95% of our workforce is female. All formal workers, who receive a fair salary, benefits and all their rights. Therefore, Gazin is a company that takes care of women. Those of today and those of the future.
